Windows come in all shapes, sizes, and forms. The most common materials used for windows today are wood, UPVC, or aluminum. Each material does have its own pros and cons but it all depends on you, your budget, your home, and what ultimately matters to you in the end.

Many home builders tend to use UPVC windows due to the fact they are maintenance-free, durable, super easy to keep clean, UV resistant, and help insulate your home. Their main drawback is that they are structurally a much weaker material in comparison to aluminum or wood but aluminum windows are not the best option in terms of maintenance, oxidation issues and the fact they are not good for insulation. It really all comes down to what you prefer and what you’re willing to invest in, however, UPVC windows are definitely the better choice out of all window options out there in terms of price both in the short and the long term.
